It's off of Agnes Obel's first album Philharmonics, but everything she releases is amazing and The Curse is another one by her that has both awesome song and video...
You were right—this music video (and the song) is gorgeous! It’s kind of haunting too, and I love that about it. She has such a spooky and old voice, and I love that. The video fits really well with the sound, and it also reminds me of something Hollywood would use for a movie (or probably television) preview. I definitely want to hear more from this artist now!
ReplyDeleteHey Kat! I agree that the song definitely has a great atmospheric element. It has a very haunting tone, but makes you want to listen to more! I will be searching for more of Agnes Obel’s music for sure. The music video has a similar feel and is very cinematographic. Can’t wait to see what the other videos look like!

It is great music to listen to it all the time. This video also made me want to listen to more music videos like this and I will do that very soon. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI think you chose a very peaceful song here. I like the orchestral music that goes with the lyrics. It's nice to listen to something a little more melodic, something different that today's pop music. I am glad you chose this song to share with everybody. I always enjoy finding new music, and this is something I don't think I would have ever found on my own.
